We have been supplying the DWP for just over 12 months and have managed to achieve possibly the highest outcomes per referral ratio in the UK. It is our first contract with the DWP and has organically grown from 1 Advisor "trying us out" to hundreds in several districts. We offer a unique system called CV Optimisation™ which encompasses the latest technology alongside many decades of recruitment industry experience and place an average of 4 JSA customers into work each day. We are looking to partner with a Prime Provider and would like some guidance.

The demise of the training fraternity post 1.4.11
I am worried that many of the 'single work programme' prime contractors will be currently negotiating with potential subcontractors that may not exist post 1.4.11. I have been in the business many years and have many contacts with training providers. Most of the training providers that I connect with do not know if they will exist after 1.4.11 because most or all of their training delivery contracts cease at that point,... including any run down of programmes.

The mixed response of providers to Chris Grayling’s statement on the work programme last week reflects the inevitable uncertainties accompanying changes on this scale. One provider I spoke to was bubbling with excitement. Others seem far less sure.
Nicholas Timmins writes in the Financial Times that Minster for Work, Chris Grayling, will meet with the welfare to work industry next Wednesday and can expect to hear concerns about how the transition from existing provision to a single work programme will be managed.
