Tapping into talent: putting employers at the heart of the Work Programme
The adverse publicity for work experience and the Work Programme has led to the withdrawal of several high profile employers in recent weeks. Whilst many employers remain involved, the unknown is how many are rethinking their involvement.
Clearly the Work Programme needs the active support of employers to provide sustained employment opportunities. Providers need to highlight the positive examples of how they are working with employers and getting long-term unemployed people into work.
Inclusion’s: ‘Tapping into Talent’ conference will demonstrate the innovative activity between providers and employers. The event is supported by British Chamber of Commerce, CIPD, REC and CBI. Chris Grayling MP, Minister of State for Employment, will be opening the conference with a keynote speech.
The conference will highlight successful activity, and promote confidence by employers in the Work Programme. In particular, showing that work experience is only a small part of how providers work with employers.
The conference will run from 10:00–16:30. The programme is evolving all the time, for further details please clickhere
Registrations are priced between £90–£125+VAT; this includes refreshments, lunch and access to the conference exhibition and all sessions.
