Ixion Work Programme Partnership

Ixion is a not-for-profit organisation supported by its parent, the £140m Anglia Ruskin University.

The organisation’s overall goal is to support individuals, employers and businesses through social change. We are passionate about providing services that make a difference to individuals and their local community; using social research-based solutions to help gear-up a “Big Society”.

Ixion has a delivery footprint in London, SE England, East of England, NW and NE of England; we are a member of the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) and committed to the Department of Work and Pensions’ Code of Conduct and Merlin Standards.

Ixion is seeking Expressions of Interest from local and national organisations that are looking to join us in delivering Employment Related Services across the following six areas:

• London
• South East
• East of England
• North West
• North East
• East Midlands

We are looking to form a partnership to deliver and enhance our current provision of Employment Related Services and seeking:

• Partners who provide end-to-end services across a geographical area.
• Key delivery partners who can provide specialist interventions.
• Organisations with innovation and research-based delivery models.

• Has changed the lives of over 7,000 people through our Welfare-to-Work provision over the last 12 months.
• Holds national Train to Gain contract and delivers across 5 regions (London, SE, East of England, NE and NW) delivering 2000+ NVQ’s in the 2009 – 10 academic year.
• With Anglia Ruskin University & the University of Queensland, the Sainsbury Centre, CLUE Sweden and Dr Martin Seligman provides effective cutting-edge employability and social/mental health techniques.
• Has an in-house database marketing function covering 3 million businesses across England and also provide Investors in People support in the Middle East.
• Operates contact centres & employer brokerages solutions across London & East of England; In 2008/09 we provided services to over 120,000 businesses and have an account management system for over 168,000 businesses.
