“Making the Work Programme Work” Masterclass
This one-day master class, delivered by Chris Hodson, Policy Consultant to the Campaign for Learning, will provide participants with an overview of the new Work Programme, including the available funding, operational imperatives and likely impact on providers of this new programme. The session will cover the Work Programme from a provider and individual customer perspective.
In particular the master class will provide delegates with an understanding of the following topics:
· The policy context underpinning the Work Programme
· The funding model and how prime contractors are interpreting this across their supply chain
· How to integrate with prime contractors and their supply chains
· The reality of ‘Black Box’ delivery

This master class will be particularly useful for
· Senior managers in FE Colleges, Universities and work-based learning providers
· Staff in local authorities with a role in employment and economic development
· Those holding a post with responsibility for Work Programme delivery
· Staff in voluntary organisations that provide support to Work Programme customers
