You can now upload your CV to the website for searching by authorised recruiters. You'll need to log in to use this service, then click Create content / CV and enter your details. You'll be able to edit or remove your details at any time. Let me know what else you'd find useful, and I'll get to work!
Update 13/3 - I've opened a vote on how we should store CVs. Let us know which way you'd be more likely to use:

I'm impressed you even found
I'm impressed you even found this topic as it's from around the beginning of the year. The CV functionality on the site is basically on hold - activating it would require further development work, and we're holding off pending some decisions about how to handle recruitment more generally. In the meantime, applying for the jobs that are advertised is a good way forward.
Uploading a CV could backfire!
Firstly, let me say I love my job with a passion. I am a trainer on a specific W2W programme. I do my job for the satisfaction of making a difference; giving my customers the knowledge, support and the confidence to move forwards into work. I currently work for an employer with a reputation for treating staff badly; we are under-staffed, I work alone on a regular basis with large groups (sometimes 20+)including various ex-offenders. My customers are always thank-ful for the assistance and suport I give them, the NDPAs who refer my customers speak highly of me, yet my employers are oblivious of what I do. I have a manager who is unaware of what the contract provision actually entails! (I kid you not!)
I know full well that should my current employer be made aware that I was looking or alternative employment, they would find a reason to terminate my contract, it happens, I have seen it happen. This makes it difficult to then actively promote oneself by simply uploading a CV to a specialist site such as this if my employer could potentially browse and see my details. Should CVs (or online forms) be available without seeing any personal details or employer details this would encourage more people in my situation to come forward. Surely something along the lines of the employer then requesting contact infomation for the candidate would be fairly simple to implement. Thus, we then have a choice whether to respond or not.
With regards to providers basically trading under different names, I have just discovered through this site, that my own employer has 'more than one hat' so to speak ...... raises the question why, we as employees know nothing about changes which are obviously afoot! Time to jump ship, preferably into a lifeboat rather than being thrown to the sharks!
This is something I'm still
This is something I'm still working through. Imagine this: a user selects their current employer from a list (the provider database on the site!) and that employer is never shown the CV of that user. This is entirely do-able, but what if an employer is listed as two providers? I'm thinking of e.g. Intraining and TWL, or Manpower and Working Links, or Maximus and WTCS, or Calder and Talent.
I could give users the option to block multiple employers from viewing their CV, but users would need to be aware that this could happen.
This is a good idea as this
This is a good idea as this would give people the flexability and condfidentiality that they needed.
Hi Daniel, As I said before
Hi Daniel,
As I said before a really really good idea. I myself employ staff and if I found their CV on the site I would be annoyed that they were looking for a new job. I would know by where they worked ect. I am constantly recruiting and would love to use your site as it’s the bain of my life, not that I loose staff, just we're growing. I will be using it for new staff, but, hope I don’t find any existing staff!!!
Thought: couldn't you block the existing employer from seeing the CV. Have absolutely no idea if you could do that sort of thing.
I can do, ahomage. It would
I can do, ahomage. It would require completing an online form with your details rather than simply uploading your Word CV, as Word CVs would be very difficult to anonymise. The options currently seem to be:
I'm calling a vote! This discussion is being turned into a poll, vote using the widget at the top of the page.

I haven't looked, but can you not have a system where names are blocked out somehow initially. If an employer is interested, they can pass notification through you?
A bit like Friends Reunited?
It's a good point. I'm still
It's a good point. I'm still wondering how to handle this, but the obvious way forward is to limit CV viewing to recruiters rather than employers directly, with a stipulation that they can't use or pass on information about candidates who already work for their clients. Any other suggestions?
This is a really good idea,
This is a really good idea, but I couldn't as I work in this arena and would be scared that my employer would see it. Any ideas? That’s why I’m posting anon'
