Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action are recruiting a tutor for an exciting programme funded by the European Social Fund called Ambition Coventry.
The Ambition Coventry Project is a partnership programme. The element provided by WCAVA provides bespoke support interventions to 16-29 year olds which include mentoring, confidence, training, motivation, life skills, preparation for employment and support to access ongoing education, training and employment opportunities.
Based in Coventry and on a fixed term contract until 31st July 2018.

37 hours per week
NJC Scale SO1 Point 30, currently £26,822
Fixed term contract until 31/07/2018
You will need to have demonstrable experience of developing bespoke training packages/learning resources and extensive experience of working with young people to help remove barriers and support progression into employment, education and training. You will need to have Assessor qualification e.g. TAQA or equivalent (may be studying towards the qualification) and have knowledge of education sector and accreditation processes. The role holder needs to work flexibly with the programme team to deliver support that meets the young person’s needs.
This post will involve contact with young people and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all convictions, spent or unspent must be declared.
