Work and Health Programme PIN published

DWP has published the 'Prior Information Notice' or PIN for the Work and Health Programme on the EU central noticeboard. Edited extracts below. More on the actual notice.

DWP, in collaboration with a number of UK Local Authorities (excluding Scotland who will run their own programme), is in the process of implementing a new Work and Health Programme, with the objective of transforming employment support for those furthest from the labour market — those with health conditions and disabilities and the very long term unemployed.

The new Work and Health Programme will provide support to the very long term unemployed claimants as well as the targeted referrals of claimants with disabilities and health issues. The programme will replace services currently provided under the Work Choice and Work Programme.

All information will be issued to potential suppliers via the Bravo Solutions e-Procurement platform. The contract(s) will be awarded without publication of a contract notice.

A Virtual Data Room will be made available to interested economic operators offering online access to background data and early draft versions of documentation. Economic operators are strongly advised to access the data room as new and updated information will be posted regularly.
