i2i launches new company Health 2 Employment
Inspire 2 Independence (i2i) has launched a new venture which will focus on providing health and wellbeing support for unemployed people.
2i Health 2 Employment was officially launched on November 25, this year, and is the latest addition to the company's successful employability, skills and training business.
The new company will meet the needs and demands of the welfare sector by supporting unemployed individuals with complex health issues into sustainable employment.
i2i's qualified Health Practitioners will carry out in-depth health and employability assessments, making recommendations and adaptations aimed at helping customers get back into work.
The Practitioners and advisers will work closely with customers to find work which is most suitable for them; focusing on what they can do, rather than what they can't.
The focus will be on exploring ways of making the transition into work easier, whether this be through referrals, medical support, reduced hours or specialist equipment once in work.
i2i's Group Managing Director Natalie Keating said: "We've set this new business up as a result of the knowledge and experience we have gained through delivering Health Support as part of our own Welfare to Work provision.
"We have not only seen first-hand the benefits it has had on many of our customers and their families, but we have also witnessed the increasing demand for this level of support across the industry.
"We look forward to 2016 when we will not only be supporting our own customers, but also the customers of other providers across the UK."
More news about Health 2 Employment will be released in the New Year.
