Hilary Clifford appointed as new interim CEO of ERSA

Hilary Clifford has been appointed as the new interim CEO of the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) from late July.

Hilary has spent the last two years as Head of International and Diversification with ERSA member, Reed in Partnership, where she led the company’s expansion into Australia, Poland and France.  Hilary also has extensive experience working within skills development and delivery at all levels within a UK and international context. 

Amanda McIntyre steps down at ERSA

Amanda McIntyre, Director of the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA), will be stepping down at the end of July to undertake a new role running the Stefanou Foundation, a recently established Hertfordshire-based independent charity supporting vulnerable people.  The aim of the Foundation is to find new and innovative ways to support the very young and the very old in our communities.

ERSA says big change needed to "achieve more with less"

Amanda McIntyre, Director of the trade body the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA), writes for Indus Delta this week arguing that a new Ministerial Team at DWP needs to be "brave enough to make significant change". The challenge is to achieve more and better outcomes for the country's 8.1 million economically inactive population. She says that a new contracting model is needed to make outcome based commissioning work.
