This is, hopefully, a fairly useful summary of the key points of the 2007 Freud Report in quote form. I've kept them in this format as the report is actually very clear in itself, and doesn't really need too much picking apart in the way that some others do. I would definitely recommend reading it in full if you have the time/interest.

The April-September star ratings have just been released. Major headline? They're totally different to the previous set of ratings. To the point where it raises questions about whether they're worth looking at. I might put together an analysis of the results for next week if there's enough demand, but I can't guarantee that the analysis won't say 'ignore them'. Anyone interested?

A number of contributors have been forwarding an outrageously vicious parting shot e-mail by a PCS union rep in recent weeks. It's entertaining, but also very partisan and monumentally libellous. I will not be publishing it on the site, at least not with any of the names left in. However, exposing malpractice is an important function of the press, and evidenced claims will be considered.
