The New Careers Adviser

We have a crisis in Education and the world of work. We make poor use of our talents. People go through their lives not knowing what their talents are. They may not think they have any talent at all.

I meet people who don't enjoy what they do. They endure it and live for the weekends. There are a minority of people who do enjoy what they do because it's who they are.

I would like to ask a question/s so, if anyone can give me a straight answer please do :

I am an educated and skilled Teacher who, due to funding issues with Train 2 Gain, have found myself unemployed :( . I've had to sign at Jobcentre Plus; yet every time I attend , advisers note my qualifications, then turn around and say they cannot do anything to help me.This happens time after time. Is Job Centre Plus a joke?

Given the priority to deliver on FND: Generally what skills shortages exist amongst the workforce within the sector that could affect a provider's ability to deliver?
