Nine out of ten jobs advertised on Universal Jobmatch placed by agencies, says report

New research carried out for London Voluntary Service Council shows that nine in every ten jobs advertised in London on Universal Jobmatch were placed there by job warehouses, CVlistings sites, and recruitment agencies.

Analysis of nearly 5000 London listings posted over three months found that a single company was responsible for almost half of agency listings (and 43% of all listings) in London. A job board website ‘CV-Library’ listed over 2100 jobs on the site, out of a total of just under 5000. In contrast, fewer than 500 of listings analysed in the period were posted directly by employers, rather than agency listings.
