Fair Play Partnership

Fair Play began in 1994 as a government funded initiative, which aimed to tackle the barriers preventing women from maximising their potential in economic, public and community life.

Established in 2002 as a not-for-profit organisation, Fair Play widened its remit to mainstream equality and diversity in the workplace and public and community life through projects, initiatives and programmes.

Fair Play works in partnership with local, regional and national organisations to develop and support activities which build the capacity of local organisations and communities, enabling them to contribute to social and economic well-being. The organisation’s core theme is to develop initiatives, projects and activities which encourage a more diverse participation in employment self employment, community leadership and public life for under-represented groups.
