East Durham partnership

East Durham Partnership is a Registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee established since 1989 in the District of Easington. The organisation is both a training provider and a Social Enterprise (linked to reuse of household furniture and electrical appliances) providing support directly to disadvantaged residents as part of its charitable objectives "to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged residents of Easington District".

Support includes a range of training programmes including Basic Skills, Employability skills, confidence building and Enterprise, help with procuring resources, networking, advice, work placements and job creation within the social enterprise. We also provide training accommodation and resources for business clients and work with the local partners to provide diversionary activities for "at risk" young people.
