Crosby Training

Crosby Training was formed in 1993 and is Prime Contractor to Jobcentre Plus programmes on Merseyside. Our programmes are designed to help unemployed people to gain job search skills, vocational qualifications, and increase their levels of confidence and motivation.

During our fourteen-year history we have gained a reputation for effective training by dedicated staff who are committed to the success of our innovative programmes which help people back to work.

Our provision which is primarily New Deal offers help and support within centres which are strategically located in areas across Merseyside and Cheshire, to allow easy access for our customers and to maximise links with local partners and employer organisations.

The organisation adapts a flexible approach to a rapidly changing labour market forging strong links with employers including the use of our Mobile Training Units to provide bespoke training and pre-recruitment packages to address skill shortages. Our most recent pre-recruitment ventures have been with Marks & Spencer’s, O2 Uk Ltd, Strategic Health Authorities, Merseyside Police, Ladbrokes, Granada and the BBC.
