Access Design Consultants
Access Design Consultants (ADC) was formed in 1994 to provide disability access services in response to the introduction of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA). We recognise that an appointment as a disability access consultant encompass research, development and the promotion of good practice. This requires a wide range of skills including research, design criticism, design implementation, writing and communication.
At ADC our approach is strategic and pragmatic, based on major private and public sector projects we are handling throughout the UK. We advise not only on the physical requirements of the building but also the business and institutional culture of its owners or occupiers.
With both needs and constraints once established, we work closely with the project team, harnessing our specialist knowledge to enable them to display their professional skills to the greatest effect and the client’s ultimate satisfaction.
