We've just received details of New Deal and Programme Centre performance across Great Britain from the DWP. It appears they've only sent details from last October to this March, but we'll put what we can up later in the week.
MAIN STORY - WORK SKILLS
DIUS and the DWP have launched a joint command paper on Work Skills, setting out how employment-related training and basic skills will work in future. Key points include right to £7,000 of free training up to Level 3, mandating attendance for benefit recipients, and integrated Jobcentre Plus and adult training services in Birmingham and Manchester.
