Most courses focus on theories of cold-calling and phone-based promotion, Some forward-looking courses may involve role-play based sessions. Whilst these obviously have some value, in reality they fall short of delivering what support agencies like yours require. Whether you’re working on the Work Programme, FND, Pathways to Work, or similar contracts this workshop will give you valuable techniques you can use NOW.
ABOUT Workshop Live!
Audrey Bodman from Outshine Ltd has developed a unique, practical workshop programme specifically for those within the Welfare to Work Industry based on her 19 years of experience within the industry training in employer engagement. Delegates will be given the opportunity to pick up the phone and make live calls; mirroring what they have learned in earlier sessions. Everyone will make their calls at the same time, resulting in the extra reassurance of not being alone in the spotlight. You speak to the employer about your customer base which means as well as learning and refining your skills, you are also creating real opportunities of securing jobs or training opportunities for your clients.
Workshop Live! COURSE CONTENT SUMMARY
1. Observation, monitoring and assessment of existing cold calling techniques plus feedback and structured guidelines outlining steps for improvement.
2. Hands-on Practice – making live calls to prospective employers/partners. We request that you select up to 20 names of potential employers you would like to contact during the workshop. Remember to bring the CV of any clients if applicable.
3. Tailored coaching from a trainer with over 19 years employer engagement and cold-calling experience within the Welfare to Work Industry.
4. Group coaching session on line – 2 weeks after the course to hear successes and areas for further improvement.
