Train to Gain Providers

Was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a list of train to gain providers in London and the Southeast. I would assume there must be some informaton on even at least those providers managing the consortia of T2G providers.

I have gone through all the usual channels LSC, Train to Gain etc - and cannot get the information - they either do not get back to me or tell me they do not hold this information.

My colleague in Devon and Cornwall did however receive it by requesting through the main LSC website. However when I requested the same thing - they said they had forwarded it on the relevant person and they would contact me directly- but this was about 4 weeks ago and have not received any reply.

I would expect that as it is becoming more and more crucial to integrate funding -surely Train to Gain must have some sort of directory so providers from other funding channels can contact relevant T2G providers to work together in driving sustainablity of jobs.

Any support would be welcome!!

I haven't looked at the training side of things much, but I'd assumed they'd be a bit more organised than JCP when it came to training directories. Jobcentre Plus have a network of advisers and a relatively low number of referral possibilities to work with, whereas adult training has to target end-users more directly. Can anyone else point Louisedun in the right direction?

Thanks Dave - yes i received this before - but wanted a bit more detail on location, and what they deliver.

Try the Brokerages, Prevista, Triangle and Fusion . They're supposed to refer people to T2G providers, so they should know...

You could also try the EGTP website via http://www.lsc.gov.uk/Whatwedo/Employer/egtp.htm.

If you work for a Train to Gain Provider you can get access to Captavia which holds all details of the companies and what training they deliver.

It can be got, but I ended up invoking Freedom of Information at the LSC to do it! Dave's link by the way is right as far as it goes but there are tons more providers now.
