Researching Various Contracts...
Hi all,
Im new to Indus Delta, but have found sifting through the forums and all of the various information and links within them very helpful and informative indeed... particularly so in the current turbulance and changes, being able to keep up to date is fantastic. So thank you to everyone who makes an input.
The recently posted JCP Support Contract has been particularly informative to read, and has allowed for some fantstic forward planning (as well as a welcome and refreshing feeling of FINALLY having a clue of what's going on!!!!)
However, there are a few other contracts that myself and my colleagues would like an equally good nosey through to accustom ourselves with expectations, regulations, procedures etc etc, (to inform practice) and so am calling upon your wisdom, pools of knowledge and links; and ask that if anyone has copies or links to contract specs, plans or detailed information for any of the following I'd be very grateful (as I'm sure others on the site will be too!)
Thank you in advance:
LSC - Apprenticeship Train to Gain
LSC - Adult Responsiveness to Work
A4e - ESP
Working Links - FnD
Working Links - Skills for Jobs
Shaw Trust - Work Step
Probation Service - XL Project
Connexions - New Leaf Project
The Princes Trust - Team Programme
JCP DWP - Key Skills Delivery

Hi SLC, thanks for posting. I'm not sure what you're looking for with regard to these programmes. Quite a few of the provider/programme combinations you list are far from unique - why not ask about e.g. A4e FND or WorkDirections/Ingeus FND, or FND generally?
Do you want to know the delivery model? For example, that Working Links took a prime provider approach with FND in some of its areas? If so, things will become much clearer with FND at least once delivery starts. For the other programmes, I don't even know all of them, and while people might post some stuff I doubt you'll get the whole lot. Prove me wrong, internet!
Hi Daniel, thanks for your reply!
I have been as vague as possible on purpose - to invite as much feedback and information as possible on any of the subjects! There are no specifics or boundaries - You can never know 'too much' in my opinion! (although I'm aware that i may need to develop some kind of time-travel so that i can actually read it all before the contracts are over!) I am of course aware of the 'basic' aims and objectives for these contracts in general - that information is clearly found on the individual organisation websites; but documents similar to the JSP Support Contract Document recently posted on this site that are full of delivery models and the nitty gritty-type requirements that we all can bode well to know in this sector are of particular use.
The point is, I'm at the 'conscious incompetence' stage so to speak.... all I know is how much i don't know, and therefore dont know enough to ask specific questions!! (confused yet??!!!)
So I welcome on the behalf of everyone, whatever 'useful' information may surface!!
If not, no worries - I believe it's always worth asking!
Thanks again :)

Look at LSC 'reading rooms' website.Packed full of info about E2E & Train 2 Gain. Seems you have a lot of catching up to do, you must of changed jobs recently :).
Not sure I would worry that must about key skills, it's being replaced soon.
Oh! Backing young people campaign looks intresting too...
no providers on there you would think that the main players would have signed up to the
Backing young people pledge - Ground force are there though
Practice what you preach
Thanks ds! :)
