The £20m Social Action Fund is open again to applicants
This morning (9th January), a second window to apply for funding from the £20 million Social Action Fund opened. The fund aims to help promote social action by encouraging organisations to work together and to volunteer time, assets, knowledge or skills. It also aims to involve people in volunteering from different stages of life (such as, those in school, at university, retired professionals and so on). The Social Investment Business has contributed the Fund on behalf of the Office for Civil Society. Applications for the Social Action Fund must be received by 3rd February 2012.
